‘Ted Lasso’ Officially Renewed for Season 4: Here’s What We Know

Hold onto your biscuits, ‘Ted Lasso‘ fans! The beloved Apple TV+ series is officially gearing up for a fourth season. After three incredible seasons filled with heartwarming moments and more ‘Believe‘ signs than we can count, it looks like the Greyhounds aren’t quite done with us yet.

But while Season 3 wrapped things up pretty neatly, fans were left with one burning question: Is this really the end? Well, worry no more, because the Lasso crew is making a comeback.

In a move that’s sure to get fans buzzing, Warner Bros. Television has already locked down three of the show’s beloved cast members for Season 4. Hannah Waddingham, who plays team owner Rebecca Walton, Brett Goldstein, the gruff Roy Kent (who’s also a writer-producer on the show), and Jeremy Swift, the quirky Director of Football Operations Leslie Higgins, have all signed on to return.

But what about the rest of the cast? While these three have secured their spots, it’s still unclear who else will be joining them. As Deadline reported, the rest of the ensemble, including key players like Jason Sudeikis, Brendan Hunt (Coach Beard), and Juno Temple (Keeley Jones), are in talks, but nothing has been finalized just yet.

Their previous contracts under SAG-AFTRA have expired, so new deals need to be made. But let’s be honest—can we really imagine a ‘Ted Lasso‘ season without Ted himself?

So, what does this mean for the show’s future? Well, the fact that the core trio has signed on is a huge step forward. According to insiders, Warner Bros. Television wouldn’t have moved forward without getting Jason Sudeikis on board.

This means the Kansas coach is likely sticking around—thank goodness. However, it’s not all smooth sailing from here. The studio is still working out the logistics, like budgeting and scheduling, especially since some actors may have taken on other projects.

As for the storyline? While there’s no official word yet, we can speculate that Season 4 will dive deeper into the new dynamics introduced in the Season 3 finale. Keeley and Rebecca potentially starting a women’s team could be a major plot point.

And of course, there’s the question of Ted’s future—will he stay in Kansas, or could we see him return to the UK? Only time will tell.
