Deputy Tobin Bolter was shot and killed during a traffic stop in Boise by Dennis Mulqueen, who was later shot and killed by police. The incident occurred near West Overland Road and North Raymond Street. A witness called 911 and performed CPR on Deputy Bolter, who later died. Mulqueen was found and shot by police after a confrontation, but the motive for the shooting remains unknown.
