The epic rivalry between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone reignites in a special event

They made a mark in the 1980s and now, El Chuache and Sly are set to revisit the highs and lows of one of Hollywood’s most famous rivalries.

Currently, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone enjoy a close friendship. Arnold even appeared in Stallone’s Expendables franchise and both have made appearances in each other’s documentaries, which are available on Netflix.

However, back in the day, their relationship was far from friendly, with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone engaging in a heated rivalry that fueled some of the best action films of the era, including classics like Commando.

They also played pranks on each other, like the time Arnold tricked Sly into starring in the flop film Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot, a move that remains one of the low points in Stallone’s career.

Despite their past animosity, the two legendary actors have put aside their differences and will come face to face to discuss their rivalry in a new special called TMZ Presents: Arnold & Sly: Rivals, Friends, Icons, set to premiere on April 23. This will be the first time they address their rivalry together.

As they have matured, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone have mellowed out and shifted their focus towards their careers. Stallone continued to excel as an actor, director, and screenwriter, while Arnold briefly ventured into politics as the Governor of California.

This special will give fans a chance to relive the iconic moments from the 1980s through the lens of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone, reminding us of the era dominated by these two action legends.
