The Illusionists 3 Confirms Cast and Anticipated Return

The third installment of “The Illusionists” has confirmed its cast, including the return of the original Four Horsemen: Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, and Isla Fisher. Fisher is returning after not appearing in the sequel, where her character was replaced by Lizzy Caplan.

Mark Ruffalo will also reprise his role as Dylan Rhodes, and there are rumors of Morgan Freeman’s return. Additionally, Ariana Greenblatt, Justice Smith, and Dominic Sessa have joined the cast, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

The first film in the trilogy was released in 2013, followed by a sequel in 2016. Both films were commercial successes, grossing over $350 million and $335 million worldwide, respectively. The upcoming third film will continue to explore the world of illusionists and introduce a new generation of magicians.

The film will be directed by Ruben Fleischer, with a script by Eric Warren Singer, Seth Grahame-Smith, and Mike Lesslie. Bobby Cohen and Alex Kurtzman will produce the film.

Smith, who was recently part of “Dungeons & Dragons,” is currently in theaters with “The American Society of Magical Negroes” and has a horror movie, “I Saw the TV Glow,” set for release by A24. Sessa made his film debut in Alexander Payne’s “The Holdovers” and received critical acclaim for his performance.
