Before becoming a box office sensation with ‘Dune’ and ‘Wonka’, Timothée Chalamet had his share of less successful projects.

These two films, although different, have firmly established him as a major star in the current scene. However, his journey to success was not without its setbacks.
Prior to these successes, Chalamet faced disappointment with the film ‘Bones and All’, a collaboration with director Luca Guadagnino after the success of ‘Call Me By Your Name’. The film, also starring Taylor Russell, is a raw and intense story available for a limited time on Amazon Prime Video until April 19.
‘Bones and All’ tells the story of Maren Yearly, a teenager struggling with her identity and dark secrets. As she discovers her cannibalistic tendencies and embarks on a journey of self-discovery, she finds unexpected love with a marginalized man. Their odyssey through America is plagued with challenges from their past, testing the limits of their relationship.
Based on a novel, the film allowed Guadagnino to work with Chalamet again and explore themes of love, identity, and terror in an emotionally charged road trip narrative.
The film, despite its exploration of cannibalism, is more about the complexities of love and personal growth. It delves into the impossibility of love and the turbulent nature of relationships with a provocative style.
‘Bones and All’ may have had a limited box office success, but it pushed Chalamet beyond his limits and showcased his versatility as an actor. You can catch ‘Bones and All’ on Amazon Prime Video until April 19.
