Tornado threat prompts severe storms to sweep through Oklahoma

Oklahoma experienced several tornado warnings on Saturday as severe storms moved across the state into the evening. Chief Meteorologist Damon Lane provided live coverage with the First Alert Weather Team. Tornado warnings were issued for various counties, including Grady, McClain, Osage, and Kay. The storms were heading towards the OKC metro area, causing damage and downed trees in multiple locations. The State Emergency Operations Center was activated to support areas impacted by the severe weather. The risk for severe weather continued into the night, with another wave of storms expected to move towards OKC. Flooding became a concern as the storms progressed throughout the day.
