Tornado Warning lifted for Racine and Waukesha

A tornado warning for Racine and Waukesha counties has expired as of 11 p.m. on Saturday. The National Weather Service issued the warning due to a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado that was located over Waterford North and moving east at 30 mph. Flying debris can be dangerous to those without shelter, with mobile homes at risk of damage or destruction. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles is likely, along with tree damage. Impacted locations include New Berlin, Muskego, Wind Lake, Vernon, Big Bend, and Waterford North. A severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect until midnight.
