Travel & Leisure names 4 California beaches among the top in America

Californians can enjoy some of America’s best beaches close to home as summer approaches. According to Travel & Leisure, four California beaches made the list of the top 25 nationwide. Coronado Beach, Pope Beach, Santa Monica Beach, and Carmel Beach were all included. These beaches were chosen based on criteria such as location, activities, and scenery. While the perfect beach differs for each person, these beaches offer something for everyone. Other beaches from Hawaii, Maryland, Florida, and Chicago also made the list.
