Trump and DeSantis reunite in Miami for first discussion since Florida governor exited GOP primary

Former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis had a meeting in Miami, their first conversation since DeSantis dropped out of the GOP primary. The meeting was arranged by a mutual friend and real estate developer. DeSantis had a breakfast meeting with Trump after playing golf at the Shell Bay Club. DeSantis has pledged to fundraise for Trump and has kept in touch with his supporters since endorsing Trump in the Republican primary. DeSantis has not ruled out a future presidential bid and has no intention of serving as vice president.
