Two young siblings drowned in a fast-moving creek in San Bernardino County. The children were on a family outing when the 4-year-old girl fell into the water and her mother tried to save her, resulting in her 2-year-old brother also falling in. Despite the mother’s efforts and a frantic search by family members and emergency crews, both children were found near the river’s edge and were pronounced dead at local hospitals after unsuccessful resuscitation attempts.
