Tyler Cameron Reveals Why He Keeps New Girlfriend Private

Tyler Cameron is dating someone, but don’t expect to see them on Instagram anytime soon. The Bachelorette alum explains why he’s keeping his love life under wraps.

Tyler Cameron attended the 2024 ESPY Awards earlier this week, walking the red carpet solo. Despite being alone at the event, he confirmed to E! News that he is indeed in a relationship. This comes after he hinted a few months ago that he was off the market. He described the relationship as “new,” which has puzzled fans since he’s reportedly been seeing the same woman for nearly a year. Tyler mentioned that things have been going “smooth” between them.

While he doesn’t intend to keep his relationship a secret forever, it seems that doing so works for them right now. He stated, “One day the world will know, but right now we’re just kind of chilling out.”

So why is Tyler so hesitant to go public with his new girlfriend?

Fans of reality TV have been intrigued by Tyler Cameron’s love life since his appearance on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette in 2019. Though he was a favorite and ready to propose, Hannah chose Jed Wyatt, whose relationship with her later ended. Hannah is now engaged to model Adam Woolard. Despite fan speculation that Tyler may still have feelings for Hannah Brown, he has had a few high-profile romances since then, including with model Gigi Hadid.

But Tyler made it clear that he prefers to keep this relationship away from the public eye, at least for now. He said, “Once you make it for the world, everyone gets to comment and throw their two cents in. And right now, we’re trying to make sure we’re good.”

Even if his current relationship works out, Tyler expressed a desire to return to the Bachelor franchise. He mentioned being interested in a hosting gig, possibly for Season 10 of Bachelor In Paradise when it comes back in 2025.
