ENHYPEN’s Romance: Untold has topped this week’s new music poll, showcasing a wide range of diverse artists from various music genres.

Music fans cast their votes in a poll published on Friday (July 12) by Billboard, selecting the K-pop seven-piece band’s new album as their favorite new release of the week.

Romance: Untold secured nearly 76% of the vote, establishing a significant lead over other new releases by artists including Katy Perry (“Woman’s World”), Eminem (The Death of Slim Shady), Ice Spice and Central Cee (“Did It First”), Clairo (Charm), and others.

ENHYPEN unveiled their highly-anticipated sophomore album, Romance: Untold, on Friday (July 12). This album serves as a follow-up to the boy band’s 2021 debut, DIMENSION : DILEMMA, which debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 chart.

“Since our debut, we have been expressing our experiences as artists and honest emotions through our music. ENHYPEN’s authentic story of growth is the biggest inspiration for our music,” member Jungwon shared with Billboard previously.

Romance: Untold marks the beginning of a new chapter for ENHYPEN. The pioneering storytellers have previously enchanted audiences with their narratives in BORDER, DIMENSION, MANIFESTO, and BLOOD, where they crossed boundaries, confronted their inner complexities, connected with peers, and made sacrifices for the blood-bound ‘you,’” according to a press release detailing the project last month.

It has been a thrilling year for ENHYPEN. In May, the group — comprised of members Sunghoon, Heeseung, Sunoo, Jay, Jake, Jungwon, and Ni-ki — announced a feature documentary film focused on their dedicated fan group, ENGENE. The documentary, FANMADE : ENHYPEN, is being produced by Hello Sunshine, the media company founded by actress Reese Witherspoon. This film will reportedly highlight the relationship between the band and their fan community, celebrating ENGENE’s integral role in the concert creation process.

Following Romance: Untold in this week’s poll, Perry’s “Woman’s World” amassed 13% of the vote. The song acts as the lead track for the pop star’s upcoming dance-pop album, 143, set to be released on Sept. 20.
