Video captures NY DA Sandra Doorley confronting cop during traffic stop

All nine members of the Rochester City Council signed a letter asking New York Attorney General Letitia James to investigate Monroe County DA Sandra Doorley’s conduct during a recent traffic incident. Bodycam footage showed Doorley arguing with an officer who pulled her over, stating she was the DA and did not feel like stopping. Doorley was combative throughout the exchange, using profanity and refusing to comply. While she admitted guilt and accepted a speeding ticket, the council members believe her behavior violated ethical standards and eroded public trust in the justice system. They are calling for accountability and a thorough investigation by the Attorney General’s office.
