Vivienne and Knox Jolie-Pitt’s Lives Unveiled After Milestone Birthday

Angelina Jolie’s twins, Vivienne and Knox, celebrated their 16th birthday on July 12. It’s likely they marked this milestone alongside their older siblings: Maddox, Zahara, Pax, and Shiloh.

However, the lives of the actress’s youngest children are quite different from each other. Vivienne appears in the spotlight much more than her brother Knox.

Earlier this year, Vivienne accompanied her mother to the Tony Awards. She assisted in producing a musical adaptation of The Outsiders, which won four out of 11 awards at the ceremony. Dressed in a green bow tie and waistcoat over a white shirt, Vivienne coordinated her outfit with her mother’s sweeping green gown. The mother-daughter duo held hands on the red carpet all night.

Interestingly, Vivienne was listed in the Playbill as “Vivienne Jolie” instead of “Vivienne Jolie-Pitt” for the occasion. It’s not clear if she has legally changed her name.

This wasn’t Vivienne’s first time in the spotlight with her mom. At the age of five, she appeared in Maleficent, playing the younger version of Elle Fanning’s character, Aurora.

Angelina explained the casting choice: “We think it’s fun for our kids to have cameos and join us on set, but not to be actors. That’s not our goal.” She added, “The other three- and four-year-old performers wouldn’t come near me. It had to be a child that liked me and wasn’t afraid of my horns, eyes, and claws. So it had to be Viv.”

She further mentioned, “When we did it together, we had a good time. I was actually shocked that she was doing so well—she went back and hit her mark! It’s frightening.”

Unlike Vivienne, Knox tends to keep a lower profile, though he has also worked with his mom. He voiced the character Ku Ku in Kung Fu Panda 3, where Angelina played the role of Tigress. Knox joined a star-studded cast, featuring Kate Hudson, Jack Black, Bryan Cranston, Seth Rogen, and Jackie Chan.

The twins have often been seen on the red carpet with their siblings, especially when their mom has a film to promote. For instance, they accompanied her on the red carpet for the premieres of Eternals and Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.

In summary, while Vivienne fairly enjoys the limelight, Knox tends to live a more reserved life, both siblings bring invaluable support to their iconic mom, Angelina Jolie.
