Watch the Teaser for Kathryn Hahn’s ‘WandaVision’ Spinoff

The witch is back. Kathryn Hahn returns as Agatha Harkness in the first look at Marvel Studios’ upcoming WandaVision spinoff, Agatha All Along.

A teaser trailer dropped on Monday, showing Hahn’s Harkness embarking on a dangerous journey to reclaim her powers. She’s joined by Aubrey Plaza on her mission to bring together a new coven. Other cast members include Patti LuPone, Debra Jo Rupp, Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, and Okwui Okpokwasili.

According to a synopsis from the studio, “The infamous Agatha Harkness finds herself down and out of power after a suspicious goth teen helps break her free from a distorted spell. Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing. Together, Agatha and this mysterious teen pull together a desperate coven and set off down the Witches’ Road.”

WandaVision head writer Jac Schaeffer serves as the Agatha All Along showrunner and directs the pilot episode.

The show will have a two-episode premiere on September 18 on Disney+.

ET was with Hahn in February when she teased what fans could expect from the spooky new series.

“I wish I could tell you anything. I can tell you that it’s pretty fan—fabulous, I’m going to say that,” Hahn commented. “I was going to say fantastic but then I decided to go with fabulous.”

Hahn couldn’t say enough nice things about her co-stars and offered her promise to the fans that they have pulled off something sure to shock and excite.

“It’s an amazing cast. I’m in awe of everyone’s work in this show and I think people are going to be surprised,” Hahn said. “I don’t— I think they’re gonna think it’s one way and, of course, it’s gonna go a million different avenues, kinda like WandaVision.”

The show is a spinoff of Disney+’s Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany-led WandaVision, which aired on the streaming platform in early 2021. Hahn’s character—the nosey and deceptive Agatha Harkness (referred to throughout the show as “Agnes” until a big reveal in the final episodes)—became an instant hit among Marvel fans. In November 2021, the major franchise announced they had greenlit a spinoff.

That confirmation came after Hahn spoke with ET the previous month and teased the potential for a new show after months of begging from the fans.

“Anything can happen,” the actress said at the time.

Since then, the show had undergone numerous name changes including, but not limited to Agatha: Coven of Chaos, Agatha: House of Harkness, and Agatha: Darkhold Diaries.

When ET caught up with the Emmy-nominated actress in November 2022, she played coy about the series but said it’s about, “Witches, witches, witches, witches.”

“I’m very excited about it,” Hahn said. “I’m very excited for you to see it.”

Agatha All Along debuts on September 18 at 6:00 p.m. PT/9:00 p.m. ET on Disney+.
