What Tony & Ziva’s Daughter Tali Looks Like in the Spin-Off Series

Isla Gie’s casting as Tali in “NCIS: Tony & Ziva” represents a bit of recasting within the “NCIS” universe. When a younger Tali appeared on the main show, she was portrayed by twins Emelia and Layla Golfieri. Tali has matured significantly since then; the last time viewers saw her was in the Season 17 “NCIS” episode, “In the Wind,” where Ziva received a video of Tali expressing her love for her mom. Now a tween, Tali is expected to bring some resentment into the mix, which will likely add layers to the family drama. She won’t be the only new face interacting with Tony (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva (Cote de Pablo), either.

Joining “NCIS: Tony & Ziva” are Terence Maynard, Amita Suman, Nassima Benchicou, Maximilian Osinski, and Julian Ovenden. Particularly intriguing is Lara Rossi’s character, Sophie, who brings a combination of maternal warmth and hyper-vigilance as Tali’s caretaker. This addition suggests that Tony and Ziva might need some assistance raising their “precocious” child.

Arguably, the most notable name joining the cast is James D’Arcy, known for his roles in “Oppenheimer” and “Agent Carter.” His character, Henry, is described as a “high-ranking official at Interpol,” infusing an international angle into the series. This spinoff will see the central family on the run, aiming to discover who is chasing them. Despite Tali’s young age, she’s getting her first exposure to espionage. Fans are eager to see how everything unfolds when “NCIS: Tony & Ziva” airs, although a formal release date has yet to be announced.
