Why Scarlett Johansson’s Daughter Won’t Watch an Avengers Movie

While the Avengers films might be too intense and violent for now, Scarlett Johansson’s daughter could potentially enjoy them when she’s older. By then, there’s a chance Johansson might even return to the franchise. Black Widow made a significant sacrifice in “Avengers: Endgame,” concluding her character’s journey. She reappeared in a self-titled prequel in 2021, which seemed like Natasha Romanoff’s final farewell. However, various reports over the years have hinted that Johansson and Robert Downey Jr. might make a comeback to the multi-billion dollar franchise.

Marvel Boss Kevin Feige recently addressed these Avengers reunion rumors but, as expected, kept his comments ambiguous. Johansson has mentioned that Black Widow’s return to the MCU would require a miracle, though such occurrences aren’t unheard of in the Multiverse. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, characters never truly disappear forever, allowing the franchise the flexibility to reintroduce actors in future projects.

Even if Johansson doesn’t reprise her role as Black Widow, she remains actively involved with Marvel. She is currently working on a mysterious project within the franchise. Unfortunately, details about this project are scarce at the moment. However, Johansson’s fans have plenty to anticipate even outside of Marvel. The “Lost in Translation” actress is set to star in the next Jurassic World film and lends her voice to Elita in the animated “Transformers One,” which is an ideal project for younger audiences.
