General Hospital fans were left on the edge of their seats after Thursday’s intense cliffhanger involving Kristina Davis and Ava Jerome. Many viewers are anxious about Kristina’s future on the show. So, what does the future hold for the character? Here’s what we know so far.

Kristina Davis, portrayed by Kate Mansi, and her unborn baby were rushed into surgery during Friday’s episode. The beloved General Hospital character was in a tense confrontation with Ava Jerome, played by Maura West, when she tripped over a duffle bag and fell out of a window.

During their heated conversation, Kristina threatened to testify against Ava in the upcoming custody trial. As Ava approached her, Kristina stepped backward, resulting in her fall through the window. She plummeted two stories down into the Metro Court pool.

In the series, Kristina is currently acting as a surrogate for her sister’s baby. Following the fall, she was unconscious with multiple cuts on her face when she was pulled from the pool. As of Thursday’s episode, Kristina remained unresponsive.

Josslyn Jacks, played by Eden McCoy, pulled Kristina out of the pool. Despite Ava trying to play the victim, Josslyn stayed by Kristina’s side at the hospital while Ava continued to push her own version of the events.

In an attempt to cover her tracks, Ava swapped the duffle bag Kristina tripped over with high heels and ransacked the room to make it look chaotic. She claimed, “Kristina did this to herself,” portraying Kristina as violent and accusatory. However, Dante, played by Dominic Zamprogna, wasn’t convinced and arrested Ava as Kristina was being loaded into the ambulance.

It was revealed that Kristina was hemorrhaging due to placental abruption, leading her to go into shock with the baby in fetal distress. An emergency C-section was the only option to save both lives.

Friday’s episode concluded with Kristina in the hospital and Ava in custody.

Since the episode aired, fans have been speculating about Kristina and the baby’s fate. One worried fan asked, “Will she be OK? What about…the baby???” on social media platform X. Another exclaimed, “OMG, on General Hospital, Kristina fell out of Ava’s window, and she has internal bleeding, and the baby is in distress. I’m hoping they both survive, but who knows? Some viewers criticized Ava’s actions, noting how she made the situation worse by being present during Kristina’s fall but failing to call 911 immediately. “Ava made herself look even worse because she admitted being there when Kristina fell and she didn’t bother to call 911 herself. Nice Ava, real nice!”
