Yale University’s campus invaded by police in riot gear, students arrested amid anti-Israel protest by hundreds

Police in riot gear arrived at Yale University in Connecticut on Monday to arrest students staging an anti-Israel protest encampment. The students were warned to clear out or risk arrest. Footage showed police blocking entrances to the plaza where the protesters gathered, with some students being arrested for trespassing. Despite warnings, some students locked arms around a flag pole and chanted defiantly. The arrests came after violent incidents, including a Jewish student journalist being stabbed in the eye with a Palestinian flag. University officials warned of disciplinary actions for any misconduct during the ongoing demonstrations.
