YouTuber James Charles Allegedly Victim of Sex Tape Leak

James Charles has become the center of explicit video leak allegations sweeping across social media.

The famed beauty influencer started trending on Twitter (now X) for unfavorable reasons. The alleged video appears to show Charles engaging in a lewd act over webcam.

The clip, which has no sound, was reportedly shared on the unregulated messaging platform Telegram before making its way to mainstream social media platforms.

Inevitably, the footage garnered a lot of reactions online, with one user writing: “Whoever put the James Charles leak on my timeline is going to hell.”

Another added: “Whoever put that James Charles video on my TL, you will get a strange cough in 3 days.”

Charles has not yet commented on the clip. Indy100 reached out to the YouTuber for comment.

James Charles is a 25-year-old American YouTuber and makeup artist born in Bethlehem, New York.

Charles started a YouTube channel where he frequently shared makeup tutorials, reviews, vlogs, and collaborations with fellow YouTubers and celebrities.

He has amassed a staggering 23.9 million subscribers on YouTube alone, with a further 20 million on Instagram.

In 2016, he became the first male ambassador for Cover Girl following a viral tweet. He has since directed an original YouTube series Instant Influencer and released his own line of makeup, Painted.

Charles was accused of having inappropriate conversations with a minor in 2021.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan in 2023 titled “James Charles Would Like to Be Un-Canceled, Please,” the YouTuber broke his silence for the first time.

“I don’t want to sit here and f***ing mope and whine and cry because nobody wants to hear it,” he began. “I had to do a lot of thinking. Like, ‘Okay, babe, this is your fault. No, you’re not a paedophile. No, you’re not a f***ing groomer. No, you’re not a predator. But you made a big mistake.'”

“I’ve never been more disgusted in my life than when I found out that that kid was 16 years old,” Charles told Cosmopolitan. “I was mortified, absolutely mortified.”

Charles admitted to sending the messages in a 14-minute clip titled “holding myself accountable” where he discussed being in a “really dark place.”

“I f****d up. These conversations should’ve never happened, point-blank, period. There is no excuse for it, there is no ifs, ands or buts and I take full responsibility for that,” he said in the video.
