Yung Gravy Denies Sliding into Hawk Tuah Girl’s DMs with Contradictory Proof

As Yo Gotti’s 2015 hit suggests, it sometimes does go down in the DMs, often referring to potential love connections. Interesting developments have recently come to light about how Doja Cat and Joseph Quinn’s rumored romance supposedly began through direct messages.

However, Yung Gravy is challenging similar rumors about him and Hailey Welch, also known as Hawk Tuah Girl. In an interview with TMZ, Welch claimed that the “Betty (Get Money)” rapper had slid into her private messages to ask her out on a date. On August 19, Yung Gravy not only laughed off this assertion but also provided evidence to dispute the claim.

On X (formerly Twitter), Yung Gravy humorously remarked, “Can’t be nice anymore, LOL.”

Attached to his post was a screenshot of the pair’s private conversation on what appears to be Instagram, dating back to July 31. The initial message shows that Welch reached out to Yung Gravy first, greeting him with, “Hello sir.”

As their chat continued, Yung Gravy invited Welch to one of his upcoming shows. “Oh, and this ain’t just me trying to finesse cause I don’t know your man situation,” he wrote. “But I wanted to have you at a show next month to hear my country sh*t.”

Yung Gravy isn’t opposed to finding love online, evident from his earlier flirtations with Lizzo. But in this case, he insists he’s innocent.
