Christian Slater and Wife Brittany Lopez Welcome Their Second Child
Christian Slater and his wife Brittany Lopez are overjoyed to announce the birth of their baby boy!
According to People, the 54-year-old Heathers actor and his wife, 35, welcomed their second child together in July. The exact birth date and name of the baby remain undisclosed. The couple also shares a daughter, born in 2019. Additionally, Slater is a father to 25-year-old Jaden and 22-year-old Eliana from his previous marriage to Ryan Haddon.
The last time Slater and Lopez made a public appearance together was at the Sesame Workshop Benefit Gala in New York City in May. Lopez showcased her baby bump as they posed with the Sesame Street characters.

Before this event, the couple attended the premiere of Unfrosted in Los Angeles in April. During this event, they revealed Lopez’s pregnancy for the first time, with her wearing a floral gown that beautifully displayed her growing baby bump. The ecstatic parents beamed as they posed for photos during Slater’s film event.
Despite their occasional public appearances, Slater and Lopez lead a very private life. They have successfully kept their 4-year-old daughter’s name out of the public eye.

While discussing this recent addition to their family might not have come up, Slater shared his excitement for another significant event in his life. During an interview at the Blink Twice premiere, he spoke about reuniting with Patrick Dempsey for their new show, Dexter: Original Sin. The two actors previously worked together on 1991’s Mobsters.
“I haven’t seen Patrick in about 30 years, and also, the director is Michael Lehmann who did Heathers. It’s been really nice to come back around,” Slater shared. “A lot of time has passed, a lot of growing, a lot of experience. We were different guys in our 20s.”
Dexter: Original Sin, a prequel series to Dexter, will also feature Sarah Michelle Gellar and bring back Michael C. Hall as the show’s narrator. The series is set to premiere in December on Showtime, with episodes available for streaming on Paramount+.
