Canada and Mexico continue their partnership to promote job opportunities on the Mexican Employment Portal, a part of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare. As of now, there is a job opening for heavy vehicle mechanics who have expertise in inspecting, repairing, and replacing parts and components of heavy vehicles. The opening is offered by a Canadian company which is looking for Mexican workers on a salary of approximately $32,000 per month.
The incumbent will have to disassemble and reassemble heavy vehicle parts while performing preventive and curative maintenance to ensure smooth running and longevity of vehicles. To qualify for the role, applicants must have 3-4 years of relevant experience as a heavy vehicle mechanic and a technical degree related to mechanics.
Moreover, the applicant must prove work experience in any authorized dealership or workshop, and possess basic English language expertise. The selected employee will have to work from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and may also have overtime hours available. The Canadian company will provide additional perks such as social security, medical care insurance, and a fixed-term contract.
Interested candidates must apply for the vacancy before May 31. They can apply through an online portal or can visit an office of the National Employment Service. After the initial application screening, the eligible applicants will be called for a face-to-face interview. The applicants’ English language proficiency will be evaluated during this interview.
