Madrid, Jun 29 (EFE) .- The Italian firm Salvatore Ferragamo has decided to bet on the Asian market and has chosen the K-Pop star Seulgi and the Chinese actress Jelly Lin as global brand ambassadors.
Ferragamo bets on Generation Z and the Asian market by casting Jelly Lin (China, 1996), a successful film and television actress and rose to fame for her performance in “The Mermaid.”
Fashion icon of her generation, Jelly actively shares fashion and lifestyle content with millions of followers on her social media.
It is not the first time that the Italian firm collaborates with the actress. In 2017, she attended one of their fashion shows for the first time and later established herself as the face of the house’s “Signorina” fragrance.
Joining it is singer and model Seulgi, who after debuting as a member of the girl group Red Velvet with her first single Happiness in 2014, has become one of K-Pop’s biggest stars.
With ten million followers on her Instagram account, Seulgi is also a fashion icon for a generation of young people with a passion for music.
Seulgi (South Korea, 1994) has been collaborating with Ferragamo since 2020 and has recently starred in the special digital content of Ferragamo’s “Let’s Dance” capsule shoe collection.
Both are “a reflection of the joy of youth, as the firm explained in a note, embodying with their style” the passionate innovation and creativity that belong to Ferragamo’s DNA.
A collaboration that involves the union of luxury with the “vitality of pop and contemporary culture”.
